Don’t let your memories get left in the dark anymore. Now capture brighter and cleaner pictures by increasing exposure time up to one second! No fake software effects like other apps. Only true long exposure photography!

How many times have you tried to capture memorable night-time scenes with your device but were left with dark and noisy snapshots? Night Modes puts an end to those useless pictures and allows you to capture bright, clean and low-noise pictures by extending camera shutter speed up to one second. This is 15 times more light gathering capability compared to the Camera app! No more fiddling with filters trying to recover night shots too dark to make anything out. Furthermore, Night Modes is the perfect tool to capture fireworks, car light trails or to create spectacular night-time slow shutter effects.

Features:

• User-selectable maximum exposure time
• On-screen ISO and Exposure Time display
• Exposure and Focus lock
• Full Exif including Geo-tagging
• Volume Shutter and Self-timer

Download this unique app now. Again, no fake software effects. Only true long exposure photography!

Hardware limitations:

- Exposure time can’t be forced; the camera will automatically reduce exposure time if lighting permits.

- Camera doesn’t support flash photography with extended exposure time. However, torch is available.

- Camera preview refresh rate and focus adjustment time are negatively affected by longer exposure time. It can take many seconds for the camera to adjust focus when exposure time is one second. However, locking focus will prevent camera from re-focusing.

- Maximum exposure time is limited to 1/2 second on some device models.

Pros and cons of Night Modes app for iPhone and iPad

Night Modes app good for

Does what it says. But although the pictures are really optimized as for the lightning (flash dont need to be used) have better colours, you will notice that they are a little blurred. Overall its worth the try.
Four stars for stars. Would be five stars but there seems to be a bit of a, lens memory? I was out tonight (no moon in the sky) clear night so there were lots of stars to be seen. Tried several camera applications and lots of those just increased the grain but not the light. Clearly visible are stars in the photos taken with this App. However, there seems to be a lot of double images even when I hold the phone (5) very steady.

Some bad moments

This app is so disappointing!! It doesnt shoot night pictures any better than the regular IOS camera. I am so sorry I wasted my money!
Looks like the app developers would revamp this app. Ever since IOS 8 updated the rear camera will not look any different than the default camera using this app. Will actually brighten up on the screen but after you snap a picture and view it it is the same look as the default camera. Wasting your time with this app. It use to work but developers are not doing anything to correct the problem. I have an iPhone 6plus on iOS 10 and the app is useless. As I said it has been this way since iOS 8. NightCap Pro is the way to go. It does exactly what it says it will do. Apple take the Night Mode app down. People are getting ripped.
This is the best low light app in app store.. I tried many low light app, but this one is much better than the other Ps: itll be much better if it could custom the iso, exposure and shutter speed Simply the best!
Love this app. Worth the money if low light photos are important to you.
I love how they were able to change the way the camera acted in order to get more exposure for night photos. The set up is nice and easy to learn! Very simple, very easy to work! I just wish there where longer exposure settings like 5-10mins or even an hour for real cool effects like star trails and even just getting a high detailed shot of the sky at night. Overall this app has done what Ive been wanting for a while.
This is the best of the low light camera apps. It really is as advertised and takes pictures that are MUCH better than the native app in low light conditions (even after post processing). One of the best purchases Ive made in the App Store.
